Our growing Pediatric Dental Practice in the heart of Chelsea is seeking an Experienced Dental Hygienist for Part-time position with Full-time potential for the right person. Saturday availability is a MUST. We are a high-tech, nearly paperless office. We are looking for someone with a warm and friendly demeanor who is passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise on oral hygiene with young patients and their families. Your smile and positive attitude must always shine. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, efficient and accurate computer and charting skills, and be confident taking x-rays and placing sealants on children.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. NYS Dental Hygiene License
2. CPR Certification
3. MINIMUM of 1 year of experience working as a dental hygienist in private practice, with at least 50% of that time having been spent treating children.
4. Experience with Dentrix/Dentrix Ascend Practice Management Software and Mac computers
5. Effective written and verbal communication skills
6. Proficiency taking intraoral (Scan-x) and extraoral (Planmeca Promax) radiographs and placing sealants
7. Knowledge of primary and permanent dentition nomenclature and charting/treatment planning
8. Ready and available professional references
9. Team player
10. Accuracy, Honesty, Integrity
11. Willingness to take on other office responsibilities and marketing in non patient contact time
12. Excellent time-management skills, self-motivated, attention to details very important
