Job Description

Woodstock Dental office looking for a fun, friendly and highly motivated hygienist to become a member of our team. Our staff and hygienists goal is to keep the patient's care the highest priority and not production goals (like corporate dental offices).
- Greeting patients with a smile! After all these are not just your patients, they are our friends. This is the most important requirement for this position.
- Listen to the patient's needs and concerns.
- Discuss patient's hygiene and give suggestions that promote good oral health. Perform "mouth tours" using an iTero imaging. The patient can view their dentition in 3-D using this high tech imaging technology. ( iTero knowledge not required)
- Provide routine teeth cleaning during regular check-ups
- Every 6 months, either take appropriate x-rays or perform Perio Probing
- Perform Scaling and Root planning ( we schedule 90min for 2 quads of SRP)
- Schedule patient's next dental cleaning and perform patient recall during down time.
- Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend Software knowledge a plus, but not required
- New hygienist are welcome to apply. We have the most highly educated and experienced dentists that can help you learn and expand your dental knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
