Our well established, newer remodeled and busy, 2 doctor general private practice is seeking the perfect person to complement our amazing, long-term team.
We understand how important it is to provide the proper tools, proper scheduling as well a friendly/communicative environment to our hygienists so that they can provide excellent quality care to the patients.
No double-booked hygiene.
Floater DA provided to help turn rooms and chart.
1 hour provided for recalls, 1.5 hours for new patients, 1.5-2 hours provided for 2 QE SRP.
All hygiene rooms are equipped with an Isolite isolation/evacuation system, the new digital Cavitron 300, as well as a cordless Nupro Freedom polisher. We provide new hand instruments on a regular basis, or upon request.
We are Dentrix/Dexis based software. Knowledge of these systems a plus.Duties:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Digital x-rays including CBCT- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide to patients as needed- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history
Hours: Monday and Friday 7-3; Tuesday and Wednesday 1-7 (with the option of 11-7) and one Saturday a month. No Saturdays in the summer.
Requirements:- Valid state dental hygiene license- Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
