Job Description
Our office in Lincoln Park is looking for a full-time(32 hours a week) hygienist.
Responsibilities
Welcome patients in the dental office
Steinationrilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Take X-rays & Intra Oral Pictures
Communicate with dentist about your recommended hygiene plan
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Schedule appointments
Skills
Understanding of health & safety regulations, HIPPA & OSHA
Good computer skills including Open Dental
Excellent communication and people skills, our patients like to be personable
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Dental Hygienist license in good standing and active
Additional certification or training: ( CPR, iTero familiarity)
Hours:
Monday: 11:30am-7pm
Tuesday 10:30am-6pm
Wednesday 8:30am-5pm
Thursday 7:30am-2pm (Every Other)
Friday: 7:30am-2pm (Every Other)
Saturdays( 1 a month) 7:30am-2pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
