Job Description
Front Desk Receptionist
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner- Answer phone calls- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar- Check patients in and out, collect payments, and provide receipts- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary- Handle insurance verification and claims processing- Review claims, accounts, and billing- Assist with order entry and inventory management- Transcribe documents, emails, and other forms of communication- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role preferred- Proficiency in using Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail- Knowledge of dental office procedures is a plus- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
