Job Description

Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures such as teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Conduct oral cancer screenings- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions- maintain a sterile working environment- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories- Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygienist license in CT- Associate's degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited program- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft helpful- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 – 25 per week
