Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. If you are passionate about dentistry and dedicated to promoting oral hygiene, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
- Conduct thorough oral examinations to identify any signs of dental diseases or abnormalities
- Take and develop dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history and treatment plans
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
Skills:
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Experience working in a dental office setting
- Familiarity with Curve or similar dental practice management software
- Knowledge of dental imaging techniques and interpretation
- Comfortable working with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Strong attention to detail for accurate medical documentation and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices and Invisalign
- Thorough understanding of infection control protocols and procedures
- Solid knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
