Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Duties:
- Diagnose and treat various dental issues in patients of all ages- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care practices- Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests- Administer anesthetics for pain management during procedures- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Eaglesoft
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school- Valid state dental license in good standing- Proficiency in pediatric dentistry is a plus- Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy protection- Strong patient assessment skills including vital signs monitoring- Understanding of medical records management
