Our busy dental practice is growing, and we need a caring and competent certified dental assistant to support our team! The ideal applicant will deliver high-quality dental services and patient care that leaves clients feeling like family. You must be an X-ray-certified Dental assistant and possess fantastic communication skills. Having Dental assistance experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should be willing to be cross-trained in receptionist duties.

$22 -$25 hourly DOE Responsibilities:

Provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums after procedures, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and schedule appointments for patient care follow up
Meet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during appointment
Get treatment rooms ready for for examination and procedures by equipping them with necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials
Evaluate and document vital signs for patients and update medical records
Assure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
Qualifications:

Computer skills and experience with dental software and updating patient histories is needed
Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are preferred
