Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. Responsibilities:
1. Provides dental care to all age groups in accordance with the State of Pennsylvania Department of Licensing and acceptable standards of care in a professional and ethical manner
2. Works collaboratively with a care team structure with Sadler staff, providers, and other community healthcare providers.
3. Integrates patient education into all treatment phases.
4. Consults with appropriate providers as necessary, and makes recommendations to patients for outside referrals.
5. Identifies special needs of Sadler patients and works with staff to address those needs.
6. Provides diagnostic and therapeutic dental services to established patients and emergency dental services to non-established clinic patients within the scope of practice of Sadler.
7. Ensures the completion of all patient visit elements in accordance with department protocols.
8. Documents encounters in an accurate and timely manner.
9. Provides feedback and actively participates in the departmentââ¬â¢s quality, risk management and operational initiatives. Acts on quality and safety recommendations.
10. Works cohesively with support and clinical staff to achieve optimal patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Ability to learn electronic dental health record system.

Education
High school graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program with an Associate or Bachelor Degree
Preferred:
One (1) year of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience working with low income, multi-ethnic populations.
Local anesthesia certification
Public Health Dental Hygiene Practioner License

Pay: $80,000.00 - $91,000.00 per year
