Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health in a professional and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental cleanings- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Perform oral cancer screenings- Take dental x-rays- Maintain patient records accurately- Administer local anesthetics- Sterilize dental instruments following OSHA guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Proficiency in medical terminology- Ability to perform patient assessments and record vital signs- Familiarity with aseptic techniques- Experience with dental software- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred- Ability to maintain accurate medical records
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
