Manhattan Dental Associates is looking for a Dental Receptionist to join our team. We are a rapidly growing dental practice located in New York, NY. We are looking for a personable individual with a positive attitude who is looking to build a career in the dental industry.
Job Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients in our dental office
Answer phones and schedule patient appointments
Check patients out after their appointments; prepare and distribute treatment plans
Manage our office schedule, including calling patients to confirm appointments and scheduling new patients
File insurance claims and verify insurance eligibility (will train if needed)
Maintain an orderly and clean office environment
Work with other team members as needed
Provide ongoing customer service / Q&A support
Other duties as assigned by management

Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast paced environment (e.g. multiple interruptions, heavy pressure on the phone, etc.)
2 years previous experience in a dental office is required
Must have experience with Dentrix software
Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with other team members (written and verbal)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
