Dental Hygienist

Requirements / Responsibilities:

Oral health evaluation, Oral cavity examination for signs of periodontal disease
Proficient in procedures including: Prophylaxis, Periodontal Scaling, Root Planning, Debridement, Application of Fluoride Treatments, and Application of Protective Sealants.
Document dental history.
Document lab procedures and ensure follow up on results
Take Digital X-Rays
Knowledge of Dental Practice Management software
Personable and able to talk to and relax patients

Required education:

Degree from an accredited school of dental hygiene.
License from state of New Jersey to practice dental hygiene
Required license or certification:

Active New Jersey X-Ray License
Current Hygiene License
Local Anesthesia License (preferred)
Required Shift : Tuesday 7:30-2pm Thursday 12:30-8pm, Saturday's 8:30-2pm
