Job Description

We are a private dental practice looking for a highly motivated, experienced and skilled Dental Assistant. The ideal candidate will be a team players who can effectively and efficently help manage day-to-day operations in our modern, state of the art dental clinic. Our dental practice is looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. This position would require professionalism, motivation, the ability to effectively multi-task and have positive customer serivce skills to help make our practice to the next level! We are looking for an energetic and good natured professional with excellent chair-side manners. 

We are a newer and highly sucessful office in Scottsdale with a superb team of dentists, hygenists, assistants and front office staff who work very well with each other. We take a great prode in doing excellent dentistry in a comforting environment and in building long-term relationships with our patients. As a leader, it is imperative you are self-aware, bring out the best in your colleagues, while ensuring that patients' needs and concerns are satisfactorily addressed and they walk out with a smile. 

• Experience preferred, but we would consider tranning a terrific team player with a great attitude 

Job Requirements:

• Arizona x-ray certification (required) 
• DA Certification (required) 
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred) 

Responsibilities: 

• Welcome patients into the office
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups 
• select and setup instruments, equipment and material needed
• sterilize instruments according to regulations
• assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• undertake lab tasks as instructed
• provide oral hygiene and post op care instructions 
• keep the dental room clean and well stocked

• excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• stellar organizational and multi-tasking skills
• strong computer and office skills 
• inputting treatment plans 
• scheduling appointments 

8 hour shift
