Our outstanding pediatric dental practice is seeking an exceptional part time dental assistant for an opportunity to join our fantastic team.

We are a new and upcoming pediatric dental office, that is apart of the Islands Community in Gilbert. Not only do we provide a fun and understading work enviorment. We also provide a friendly and welcoming environment for patients and their families. Every appointment is centered around creating a positive dental experience. We want to have our patients and their families leaving our office with positive thoughts about going to the Dentist and NOT long lasting trauma / fear. Who We're Looking For

Although pediatric dental assisting would be great, all dental assisting backgrounds are welcome to apply. If you have no pediatric experience no worries. As long as you are willing to learn, we will train you. No dental experience outside of a dental assisting program, no problem, we will train you as well. We are looking for a team member that shows up to work ontime.  Who can communicate with patients professionaly. Who do not always need to be told what needs to be done but just takes the iniative to start a task on their own especially when the schedule is slower. 

The poistion is for 2 to 3 days a week either 8am- 5pm or 9am to 6pm. The shifts would be the first Monday and Wednesday of the month followed by every Tuesday and Thursday after that. Each week worked in addition to the 2 days a week you will be given the option for a 3rd day. Once a month we have surgery days that start at 6am.  As time goes by and we are able to keep the schedule filled consistently on those 2 days we are wanting to add another day on. We are a new office so hours can grow into more as we grow. 

Responsibilities

• Chairside Assisisting
• X-Rays (must be X-Ray certified)
• Breaking down Ops
• Steralizing
• Cleaning the office inlcuding bathroom
• Maintaining a log of the Instruments and Materials needing to be ordered
• On the 3rd day worked some front office duties like confirming appointments or simple insurnace verification will be done.
